1. SUMMARY AND POLICY CONTEXT:
1.1 To receive petitions referred from the Full Council meeting of 15 July 2021.
2. RECOMMENDATIONS:
2.2 That the Committee responds to the petition either by noting it or, where it is considered more appropriate, calls for an officer report on the matter.
3. PETITIONS
(1) Petition to stop Brighton & Hove City Council closing Stapley Road– Councillor Barnett and Councillor Lewry
To receive the following petition referred from the meeting of Full Council and signed by 660 people:
“The Council’s proposals involve implementing a no right turn restrictions into Stapley Road (except for bicycles). These plans will create more chaos, congestion and pollution on Old Shoreham Road and severely disrupt traffic follow in the area”.
